Hi, here is the place you can ask me about the problem that you found when using xiaomi or xiaoyi cameras.

Rules:

1. Speak politely.

2. No out of topic (cameras).

3. Never post url unless the Admin ask to do so.

    Hi,

    My xiaomi camera stopped working.
    I can go over all steps, camera is connected, but when i’m waiting to show picture than:
    Showing 1/3 connecting and than on screen showing connect timeout, confirm network patency amd retry 1000.
    Thats happened after using this camera for 3 days.
    Is there solution?

    Hi, I have a xiaomi dafang 1080p camera that I am using in Ireland. With a recent update the camera no longer works. I get a ‘regional restriction’ message saying ‘use only in mainland china, this product is only used in Mainland China’. It gives the option to appeal the restriction by emailing feedback@hualaikeji.com and sending the mac address of the camera and proof of purchase. I did this twice in the last 6 weeks and have received no reply and it is still not working (I purchased from aliexpress). Can you tell me if there is a workaround for this or how I go about it please? It seems a shame just to throw it in the trash as it is such a good camera.

      Maybe in my country long holiday, which occured about a week from now, i can use my time to develop the firmware. I’ll inform later…

    hi, i have a yi cam 720 p cam ,
    my camera can’t connect only 30% and the picture is still an old picture. I have downgraded the firmware, what’s the problem?

      Are you able to reset and pair the camera to the app?

        If you able to re-pairing the camera, then there is no problem with the camera. i think it is from your internet or the camera server. What is the 4 first digits of the camera serial?

        Okay, the problem is from the xiaomi server or the ISP(Internet Service Provider). Each camera might use different servers. When you use the camera with the same wifi, you might be able to view it more quickly and stable, because it will use direct connection to the camera after the app get the local ip address from the server. You might try using the camera through vpn, if it is normal, then the problem came from the isp, the isp got problem to connect to the ip of the camera server. If it is still not normal, then you cannot do anything, it is from the xiaomi server

    Hi i have this issue with my mijia 1080p model mjsxj02cm

    I can pair my camera but when im connecting outside my network cant pass from 20% and then this message appear “couldn’t open camera -42”, i search on internet and find a “solution” that consist on register that camera on us servers with english lenguaje only with that configuration the cammera works fine, but for me its not practical because all my devices are on chinese server what can i do?

    * I have another Xiaomi cammeras and works fine this is the only model with that issue

      After pairing, have you tried to power off then power on again the camera?
